Evest does not currently provide a self-service option to freeze or temporarily suspend a trading account. However, the client can contact the support team through the Help Center, live chat, WhatsApp, or email at support@evest.com to discuss their situation and receive appropriate assistance.
If the client wishes to permanently close the account, they must first ensure that the following conditions are met:
- The account balance is zero.
- There are no open trades or negative balance.
- There are no pending deposits, withdrawals, or asset transfers.
- There are no outstanding profits that have not yet been received.
After meeting these conditions, the client can submit an account closure request through the Evest application by selecting the support icon, or through the Support Center on the online platform.
Please note that leaving the account unused does not automatically suspend it. If the client does not conduct any trading, deposit, withdrawal, or position-opening or position-closing activity for two consecutive months, the account may be classified as dormant. In this case, if there is a balance or open positions, inactivity fees of $75 after the second month and $50 for each additional month may apply. Open trades may also be closed automatically to cover these fees.
If the request is due to suspected unauthorized access or unusual activity, the client is advised to change their login password and trading password immediately, then contact the support team to review and secure the account.
