A dormant or inactive account is one where no trading activity, deposits, withdrawals, or opening/closing of positions have taken place for at least two (2) consecutive calendar months. An account may also be classified as dormant if there has been no activity during this period, or in some cases, if the account balance is zero.
When is an account considered inactive?
An account is considered inactive if none of the following activities occur for two consecutive months:
- Trading activity
- Deposits or withdrawals
- Opening or closing positions
The inactivity period resets once any trading activity or deposit is made.
Does account inactivity affect my funds?
Your balance remains safe; however, inactivity fees may apply after the second month of inactivity:
- $75 for the first two inactive months
- $50 for each additional month (or equivalent in your account currency)
These fees may be deducted from your account balance, even if it results in closing open positions.
In some cases, if the balance is below $50, the full remaining balance may be deducted. Accounts with zero balance may also be classified as dormant.
How can I reactivate an inactive account?
To reactivate your account, you need to contact the support team, provided that:
- Any outstanding fees or obligations are settled
- Your account is fully verified (KYC)
- You may be required to update your verification documents
If the account is archived or dormant, additional steps may be required, such as resubmitting verification documents in line with compliance requirements.
Do I need to verify my identity again?
In some cases, you may be asked to resubmit or update your verification documents before reactivation, in accordance with regulatory requirements.
How can I avoid my account becoming inactive?
To keep your account active, it is recommended to perform periodic activity such as logging in regularly, trading, or making deposits.
How can I get help?
